It’s
hard to believe that the school year is just about over.
You should have received a family survey that is being conducted
by the School Board. The
results of this survey are very useful to the Board and the
Administration. Thank you
for your time in completing the survey.
I
would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our students,
parents, teachers and friends of Corpus Christi School whose efforts
have made this year such a successful one.
IMPORTANT
ITEMS TO REMEMBER:

Medications:
All medications for eighth grade students will be available for
parents to pick up from 2:30 - 3:30 PM on Friday, May 30.
Medications for students in grades 1 - 7 will be available to
parents for pick up on Thursday, 6/5, and Friday morning, June 6.

PTO
Uniform Sale will be held on Wednesday, June 4 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Old
Meeting Room. If you want
to sell outgrown, but clean uniforms, bring them to the cafeteria on
June 4, labeled with name, class, price and disposition.

Summer
Reading Lists for the
2008-2009 school year will be included with your child's final report
card and will also be available on the School News and Info link
on the school website.

NEW FOR FALL 2008!
School Supply Pack Program.
Corpus Christi PTO saves families time and money with
the NEW School Supply Program. In
order to pass along 20% - 50% savings on school supplies to all Corpus
Christi families, each student will be required to purchase their school
supply pack from the PTO for the 2008-2009 school year. All supplies
such as crayons, pencils, notebooks, etc., will be provided at a
discounted price - different for each grade depending on the teachers'
needs. Details and payment information will be enclosed in the student's
report card envelopes next week and posted on the website.

All
payments for tuition, bus, extended day, day care and pre-school should
be paid in full.
Families in arrears should contact Mrs. McCall immediately.
Balances not paid to date may jeopardize field trips, exams and
re-enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year. Eighth grade accounts MUST be paid in full no later than
Friday, May 30, before the Kings Dominion Field Trip. Report cards may also be held if you have outstanding
balances for overdue library books, lost or damaged textbooks, or have
not returned any basketball uniforms.

Extended
Day Usage.
There will be morning
only Extended Day on Friday,
June 6. There will be NO
extended day after 11:30 AM dismissal.

Summer
office hours will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or by appointment
only.
Eighth
grade awards will be held on Friday, May 30, at 8:45 AM.
On Thursday, June 5, at 8:45 AM, student awards will be presented
in the church to students in grades 4 - 7.
On the last day of school, Friday, June 6 at 8:45 AM, there will
be the presentation of student awards for grades 1 - 3.
Students will be brought back to their classrooms and dismissed
at 11:30 a.m. from school in the usual manner.
Report cards for grades 1 – 7 will be sent home on Friday, June
6. Eighth grade report
cards will be mailed.
Please
take note of the following dates for next year’s calendar.

Diocesan Teacher In-service.
No school or extended day.
