V. School Life
At Corpus Christi, our school is a community of children who become young adults prepared to deal with high school and life after Corpus Christi. Our strong academic curriculum encourages resilient moral and ethical values reinforced through daily religion class, school masses, prayer services, school/classroom prayers, and community service. In addition to excellent academics, the elementary campus students are offered many extra curricular activities including CYO sports, choir, band, drama club, Young Astronauts, Jason Project, student newspaper, safety patrols, yearbook staff, student council, National Junior Honor Society, and student tutoring. The school PTO sponsors many cultural arts activities at both campuses for all of our students and a variety of field trips provided to complement the lessons.
Corpus Christi’s innovative four day, rotating master schedule allows the inclusion of fine arts and foreign language as part of the curriculum. Children are challenged academically at Corpus Christi and tend to score above the Diocesan average on standardized testing. Most of our students go on to honors and advanced courses in high school.
