Extended Day Program
(Before and After School Care K-8)
Extended Day is a before and after school care program licensed in the State of Virginia and approved by the Office of Education in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington.
Eligibility:
The Extended Day program is open to all students attending kindergarten through eighth grade. It is available at both campuses. Students in grades K-8 can attend at either campus.
Hours of Operation:
The program operates in the morning from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the regular school day. The program operates in the afternoon from the end of the regular school day until 6:00 p.m. There is no Extended Day over Christmas Break. There is an Easter Break Camp offered for grades kindergarten through sixth at the Early Childhood Center on a pre-pay basis.
Location:
Bus service is available between Corpus Christi's Elementary School campus and the Early Childhood Center campus. The program is offered at both campus locations. Students in kindergarten through eighth can attend Extended Day at either campus.
Inclement Weather:
Corpus Christi School follows Fairfax County for school closings and delays due to inclement weather. If school opens one or two hours late, so will Extended Day. If school closes early, Extended Day remains open until 6:00 p.m. For more information, read the Inclement Weather link for more information.
