Dear Parent,

Camp Corpus Christi wants to extend an invitation to join us for the summer of 2008. This year we are going to be inviting children who are three years old to rising third graders.  The camp will be held at the Early Childhood Center Campus behind Falls Church High School (or part of St. Philip's Catholic Parish).   This year's theme will be 'The Olympics'.   Campers will learn about the different countries that participate in the Olympics.   This will include sampling new foods and learning new sports.

This year camp will be running a similar schedule to the school year from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Children must be picked up on time by a parent, guardian, or authorized person to pick them up, which is on our emergency form. If you are late you will be charged $1 per minute. More than three late pick-ups will result in dismissal from camp. Please make sure that authorized persons to pick up your child have a form of Identification with them or we will not release your child. If someone will be picking up your child that is not on our authorized list, please provide in writing the name and date(s) of the person picking up your child. Please be aware that we do not provide a bus shuttle to residential area or between campuses during the summer time. Transportation will be provided for Elementary aged children for off-campus field trips.

A Parent’s Meeting will be held in the Early Childhood Center’s Cafeteria at 7pm on May 14, 2008. At this time you will have the opportunity to meet the new director, have any questions answered, and learn more about what your children will be doing in Camp Corpus Christi. A tentative schedule, list of items to bring, and any extra field trip forms that need to be signed and returned will be given out at this meeting.

Attached to this letter are all of the forms that you need to have filled out and returned, along with a $25 registration fee and first week of camp tuition to have your child fully registered for camp. Sign up for as many weeks of camp as you would like. Below is a checklist to make sure that you have filled out all of the forms required:

-   Registration form (2-sided)

-   Walking Field Trip form 

-   Level of Swimming Ability

-   Optional: Woodley Pool Registration Form   

If you choose to become a member of Woodley Pool you will be reimbursed the $12 admissions fee per week during the last week you are enrolled in camp.   I  look forward to spending the summer with your children.
