What is your title and responsibilities for the school?
I am a Kindergarten teacher and I began teaching at Corpus Christi in 1992.

Where have you worked previously?
I have taught public school (5th and 6th grades) in Alabama, 5th grade at St. Bernadette's in Springfield, Kindergarten and 1st grades in Prince William County, preschool in Falls Church, and now am very happy to be at Corpus Christi.

Where were you born (city and state/country) and live as a young child?
I was born in Vienna, Virginia, and grew up in this area.

Where did you attend elementary school and secondary school, and were you involved in any extracurricular clubs or sports?
I attended elementary, jr. high school, and high school in Fairfax County. While there I was involved in dance, Latin club, and classical Greek study group ( I guess you could call me a nerd).

What college did you attend?
I received my bachelor's degree from Shepherd College and while there belonged to a sorority, was Chaplain of my dorm, and played intramural sports (though not very well!). I attended U.Va. as a graduate student and have concentrated on the teaching of reading.

Do you have family in the area?
As far as my personal life, I have been married to my high school sweetheart Bob for 39 happy years and look forward to many more. We have six children, 1 girl and 5 boys, and 7 grandchildren.

What are your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies include reading, walking, gardening, and boating.
