Corpus Christi School has generated parent/student handbooks for each campus to document Diocesan and school-specific policies that students and parents are expected to follow. Our parent/student handbooks and photo waiver forms can be found below.
This year the handbooks have been notated in black italics to identify the Diocesan-wide policies that apply to all elementary schools versus the school-specific policies for Corpus Christi which are in blue. Diocesan policies cannot be modified by schools. However, the Diocese does allow the schools to add additional policies in some sections. Changes to the Diocesan policies as well as Corpus Christi's policies are made every year. Parents should read the entire handbook.
This year the major changes to the school's policies in blue for the elementary parent/student handbook includes:
- Principal's communications -- page 31
- Cell phone use and the $20 fine for failure to comply with rules -- page 32
- Finance section of the handbook relating to past due accounts -- starting on page 41
- Changes to the dress code regarding wearing the PE sweatshirt with school uniforms - starting at the bottom of page 46
Minor changes were made to the Early Childhood Center's parent/student handbook including birthday celebrations and treats. Please make sure you read that section carefully.
All parents are required by the Diocese to read the parent/student handbook and sign an acknowledgement form which is sent home the first day of school. Unless a telephone call or written request is received from the parents, it is assumed that parents will read the handbook online. This method is a significant cost-savings for the school. If a family does not have internet access, the school will provide a hard copy of the handbook on the first day of school.
