> Extended Day
The Extended Day program is a before and after school care program licensed in the State of Virginia and approved by the Office of Education in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington. The Extended Day Program provides a safe and enjoyable environment for students beyond the hours of the normal school day. Games, computers, physical activities and outdoor play fill the extended day afternoon. A quiet time for rest and/or homework is a part of each day.
The Extended Day program is open to all students attending kindergarten through eighth grade. It is available at both campuses. Students in grades K-8 can attend at either campus.
To register for Extended Day or to get more information on the program, please download the forms below and turn in to the Extended Day program at either campus.
If you are interested in our Easter Break Camp 2010, download the ECC_Extended_Day_Camps_0910 and return to either Main Office BEFORE MARCH 29, 2010. The camp is located at the Early Childhood Center Campus behind Falls Church High School.
The program operates in the mornings from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the regular school day. The program operates in the afternoon from the end of the regular school day until 6:00 p.m. There is no Extended Day over Easter or Christmas Break at the Elementary Campus. However, there are both Christmas and Easter Break Camps offered for grades kindergarten through sixth at the Early Childhood Center on a pre-pay basis.
Bus service is available between Corpus Christi's Elementary School campus and the Early Childhood Center campus. The Extended Day program is offered at both campus locations. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade can attend Extended Day at either campus.
Corpus Christi School follows Fairfax County for school closings and delays due to inclement weather. If school opens one or two hours late, so will Extended Day. If school closes early, Extended Day remains open until 6:00 p.m. For more information, read the Inclement Weather link for more information.
